What the Tech Abuse Hub Does
- Conducts safety assessments of vehicles and personal devices (phones, laptops, tablets) by expert security specialists
- Detects and neutralises spyware, trackers, keyloggers, and unauthorised surveillance software
- Offers on-site consultations - victims can speak directly with DV support workers while an assessment is underway
- Provides cyber‑safety education, personal security planning, and connection to wrap‑around services (Centrelink, housing, counselling support)
Why It Matters
From hidden tracking devices in cars to secret monitoring on phones and computers, technology-facilitated abuse is escalating, and often hidden. The Tech Abuse Hub empowers survivors to regain control of their lives and personal environments.
Broader Domestic Violence Support
Beyond technology audits, the foundation integrates this service with broader Domestic & Family Violence programs—ensuring clients receive seamless, restorative care. Victims gain support across safety, security, healthcare, education, and housing. The model includes prevention, crisis response, and education for frontline workers and police.
